We think Peter Blythe Builders is the best business to come to Swansea since we bought our house here 15 years ago. His work is excellent.
Being an old house we had dampness problems.
Pete fixed a room that was so damp the floor had sunk etc but no other builders had been able to fix.
He organised overhauling our outside plumbing and now we have a very strong water flow.
He replaced our roof with colorbond at a very competent price and since then no leaks around the skylight or roof. Pete also put down a wonderful artificial lawn in our pergola.

‘This information and detail will confirm that Peter Blythe has been known to me for over 7 years, since he moved to Swansea and set up business as a master builder for our region.
During that time he has completed two rather large and important renovations to our Swansea Town Hall which included a total kitchen upgrade, main hall renovation, redesign of foyer and old projection room space and an extensive redevelopment of the disabled ramping general entrance to the Hall.
As part of my role as project manager it soon became evident that the following impressive range of skills displayed by Peter Blythe on a daily basis added much value and style to the projects.
Initially, Peter provided well laid out and detailed estimates of both projects prior to commencement of the build.
He provided monthly computer print outs of costs for periodical payments Peter also offered valuable caring advice in relation to appropriate material options which would value add to some aspects of the heritage areas of the build.
His workmanship was of a very high standard and was noticeable that he took the time to mentor his more junior tradesman in terms of the quality he expected from all employed by Peter Blythe Builders.
The projects were completed within the projected timelines and he managed all other sub contractors in a most professional way.
It was a delight to work with Peter Blythe Builders on these separate projects which have been praised by both Council and the community as “first class results” for the many community users of the Swansea Town Hall.

‘Peter Blythe Builders managed and built a significant extension to our holiday home at The Fisheries in Coles Bay. The building work needed to be sympathetic to the existing building, as well as the local environment.
Making it more complicated, we live in London and needed the work to be completed prior to our bi-annual family Christmas holiday. Peter managed all the work, his crew and various contractors. He kept us constantly updated on the progress of the works and costs, gave us much-needed suggestions on elements of both design and fittings, and had to take on significant responsibility for a number of required on-site decisions.
He managed to complete the work on time, on budget and we are truly delighted with the end results.
